Walk to Defeat ALS Alaska 2025
Join us in June at Iditapark (Wonderland Park) in Wasilla for a pleasant afternoon walk where we’ll be joining The ALS Association to network with fellow supporters in the fight against ALS.
Together, we can show those battling ALS that they are not alone. Let’s unite our efforts, share our stories, and encourage our friends and family to join us in this meaningful event. Your participation matters, and it’s a powerful way to honor those we love and support the mission to end ALS once and for all.
Jimbo's Wish 2nd Annual Golf Tournament
Join us in July at the Settlers Bay Golf Course for the Jimbo’s Wish 2nd Annual Golf Tournament! Taking place on Jim Hacker’s birthday weekend, registration includes: 18 holes, cart, welcome gift bag, and lunch at the Settlers Bay Lodge. Jim loved having a good party, so there will be a performance from the Jerry Wessling Band playing as well! We will be gathered there with friends and family to enjoy the breathtaking scenery, to network with our partners and supporters, and to discuss our goals for the remainder of 2025 and beyond in the fight against ALS.
Entry Fees & Details:
Four Player Group: $600
Reception for the Golf Tournament will be held at the Settlers Bay Lodge.

Walk to Defeat ALS Alaska 2024
Help to Unlock ALS in Alaska
March together toward a treatment & cure for ALS!
This June, Jimbo’s Wish will be participating in the Walk to Defeat ALS 2024 hosted by The ALS Association! On Saturday, June 22nd, join up with us in Girdwood to network with fellow supporters and to go on a one mile walk to promote the fight against ALS. We’ll be sharing educational resources, gathering donations, and discussing our plans for future events involving our organization.
Assisting The ALS Association in their goals is an important part of our mission, and the Jimbo’s Wish team loves to promote advocacy for studying and fighting ALS at any event such as this one. We’ll be taking photos, sharing stories, and more while we’re there. Join us for a fun and leisurely event where your voice will be heard, and where you’ll be able to powerfully feel the hope and the determination we all share for a future where ALS is cured. See you then!
